Karachi, 2023 –A grand Rotary installation ceremony was held here earlier today to install the secretariat of Shanaz Ramzi, (CEO Starlinks PR & Event Management) attended by distinguished Rotarians from District 3271 and the club’s members.
Among those who graced the occasion were District Governor Muhammad Hanif Khan, Deputy District Governor Zubair Baweja, Past District Governor (PDG) Irfan Qureshi, PDG Ovais Kohari, PDG Aftab Memon, District Secretary Asif Mukaty, RLI chair Atiqa Wali, and PP Jawed Mirza.
The evening commenced with a formal handover ceremony as the outgoing President, Dr Talat Rizvi, symbolically passed on the reins of leadership to the newly appointed president, Shanaz Ramzi. In her address, President Ramzi shared her vision for the year and emphasized her commitment to spearheading numerous impactful initiatives throughout her tenure. She then introduced her dedicated secretariat, who will play instrumental roles in driving the club’s initiatives forward. As a token of appreciation, she presented each member of her secretariat with Rotary pins, symbolizing their commitment to the organization’s noble cause. DG Hanif Khan then gave his inspirational address and also shared his vision for the year.
The ceremony was followed by an exchange of mementos with the District Governor and camaraderie over high tea.
One is convinced that Ramzi’s experience and expertise in public relations and event management will prove to be valuable assets in furthering the mission of Rotary Club Karachi New Central. Recognising her capabilities the District has already installed her as Additional Secretary and Chair Heritage in addition to her portfolio as president RCK New Central.
