Reverting to the role of training for a lady officer, I would like to say that when a lady is in her house she is an honor of her house and when they come out to serve in a department they are a symbol of honor of girls and at the same time the honor of the department hence they expect full support so as to perform their duty with pride like any other respectable citizens. Article 25(2) of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan gives a guaranty against discrimination on basis of sex so as to promote all classes of citizens, which includes full support to female employees/officers so that they may equally participate in the uplift of homeland in all respects.
The Holy Prophet (SAAS) said that ‘Women are (equal) sisters of men’. Women make up half of society and they are responsible for the nurturing, guidance, and reformation of the subsequent generations of men and women. It is the female who imbues principles and faith into the souls of the nation hence role of a woman in any society is equal and major to be performed like any man.
Being a lady officer of this department I really learned too much and definitely training imparted to us will benefit us and our department. The training period remained in a good atmosphere, and all participants interacted very well with trainers who were well in their knowledge and motivation. I would suggest that such training programs may be scheduled and held regularly, at least once a year. Here I must say that our Honorable Secretary Information department Sindh has taken a very good step for such training program which enlights his vision and wisdom that he directed for the training of Information Officers and Deputy directors, facilitating us for training programs at Divisional level causing no inconvenience, for which we are highly grateful and thankful to him.
