ISLAMABAD : Samina Fazil, the founder and President of the Islamabad Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IWCCI), said on Monday that businesswomen deeply value the vital role played by the Pakistan Armed Forces in ensuring the country’s security, stability, and sovereignty.

She added that the Army’s courageous and professional response has been a source of pride and encouragement for the nation.

Under the leadership of General Asim Munir, the Pakistan Army has upheld national dignity and delivered a resolute response to the enemy on every front.

Speaking at a press conference at the Islamabad Press Club, she highlighted the Army’s impressive performance in a recent confrontation, noting that they have successfully delivered a significant and decisive defeat to India. Her remarks reflect a deep sense of pride in the military’s achievements and the resilience exhibited during challenging circumstances.

She stated that this remarkable success, coupled with India’s disgraceful retreat, has significantly enhanced the global reputation of the Pakistan Army and Air Force. At the same time, India is left with no place to hide.

She emphasised that India has always stabbed Pakistan in the back; therefore, even during a ceasefire, full military preparedness must be maintained.

Samina Fazil noted that during the recent Indian aggression, China and Turkey extended strong military support to Pakistan. At the same time, Arab countries offered moral backing, and the Pakistani people stood united like a fortified wall, a commendable display of national unity.

She added that India miscalculated its strength and underestimated Pakistan, for which it is now paying a heavy price. The Modi government is facing tough questions at home. Pakistan’s counterattacks weakened India’s defence and exposed the hollow nature of its military might.

Samina Fazil said that India’s war hysteria in the region has backfired. Narendra Modi’s extremist policies and false claims put regional peace at risk. Still, he forgot that he was dealing with a nuclear-capable, sovereign nation unwilling to compromise on its independence or national security.

In retaliation, Pakistan precisely targeted and destroyed Indian airbases, missile defence systems, military intelligence centres, and other strategic installations. Pakistan has made it clear that it is fully prepared to defend the homeland with all its capabilities on every front.

It is now evident to the world that India tried to exert pressure on Pakistan through a web of lies, including false claims of surgical strikes and downing a Pakistani F-16. Still, Pakistan is responding robustly, militarily, and through diplomatic, cyber, and media channels.

She warned that Modi may prolong the conflict to boost the morale of his military and salvage his political career. India may launch further attacks, and Pakistan must remain vigilant. If India continues with its aggression, Pakistan will continue to crush its nefarious ambitions and hegemonic designs.

Samina Fazil praised the unity demonstrated by the Pakistani people during wartime. This unity, which was maintained despite the hostilities, consistently offered peace and was appreciated globally, should make us all proud and united as a nation.

International media outlets exposed the false narrative spread by the Indian media. At the same time, Pakistan’s transparent communication strategy helped the world understand the real situation.

She concluded that the government, armed forces, industry, and media must jointly develop a long-term defence and diplomatic strategy. This strategy will ensure that any future aggression is met with a swift and effective response, making us all feel more secure and prepared.

Former Chamber Presidents Rizwana Asif, Naeema Ansari, and several other women entrepreneurs were also present at the occasion.
