According to the details, Pakistani women have started to be counted alongside men in this fast-paced era. Be it Asia’s fastest woman Naseem Hameed, Mountaineer Naila Kayani, cricketer Sana Mir or international table tennis star Hoor Fawad, no one is less than anyone in their field. In the same way, three Pakistani women who have shown great courage and skill have made Pakistan famous by climbing the 5,070-meter high Haramosh mountain peak located in the Karakoram range of Gilgit-Baltistan, which is a historic achievement for the entire nation.

Dr. Sana Jamil, Ammara Sharif, and the Senior Executive Officer of Travel and Tourism at Sparks Business Club, Sohniya Babar, were present along with their colleagues Dr. Raheel and Abduhu on this difficult journey.

She started this challenging campaign on the 16th of last month. The pass is notorious for its treacherous terrain and potential hazards, with a constant threat of massive crevasses and avalanches, and its western section, which requires the use of ropes spanning about 600 to 700 meters. Haramosh Law Trek is a challenging peak even for experienced adventurers.

On this trip Dr. Sana Jamil and Sohniya Babar from Karachi and Ammara Sharif from Multan, while Dr. Raheel from Kharian, Abduhu from Faisalabad and guide Fida Ali Arundo (K2 Summiteer) played an important role in ensuring the safety and success of the team.

After returning from this successful trip, Sparks Business Club organized a dinner in honor of Sohniya Babar at Union Club. Chairperson of Sparks Business Club Syeda Raafia Mamujee, Chief Guest COO Star Property Expo Mahmood Ahmed Khan, Director of Sales & Marketing Daily Ausaf Syed Turab Shah, and other personalities were also present.
