KARACHI / ISLAMABAD / LAHORE, June 16: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has paid glowing tribute to Shaheed Munawar Hussain Suhrawardy on his martyrdom anniversary, acknowledging his fearless contributions to the struggle for democracy and against terrorism.
In a statement issued by the Media Cell Bilawal House, Chairman PPP said that Shaheed Suhrawardy was a symbol of unwavering resolve and courageous activism. He laid down his life in Karachi while raising his voice against terrorism and working relentlessly for the restoration of democracy in Pakistan.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari emphasized that the sacrifices of loyal PPP workers like Shaheed Munawar Hussain Suhrawardy have not gone in vain. He noted that terrorism has been eliminated from Karachi, and democratic values are gaining strength across the country with each passing day.
“Shaheed Suhrawardy will always remain alive in our hearts,” the PPP Chairman stated, adding a prayer for the martyred leader, asking Allah Almighty to grant him the highest ranks in Jannat-ul-Firdaus.
