KARACHI: Customs Intelligence based on secret information, Customs Intelligence seized containers worth several million rupees which included foreign liquor and other goods bound for sale and smuggling. Mis-declaration and false information were made in the duty-free quota obtained by the foreign embassies, further investigation and the search for the people involved in smuggling have been started. Smugglers misdeclare these quotas with the connivance of other customs officials, they use duty-free quotas to smuggle other foreign goods including mobile phones, electronic goods, and high-quality foreign liquor.

Intelligence sources further said that this process has been going on for a long time, sources said that the embassies of Saudi, Yemen and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North have been involved in selling duty-free quotas In the past few days, the customs intelligence received secret information, and the goods were seized after misdeclaration, which was kept in the name of the Saudi embassy, was seized, attempts were also made to bribe the customs officials.

After that, the North Korean embassy has also distanced itself from the goods, more revelations are expected after the investigation in this regard.
