A Grand Jirga is the need of the hour to resolve tribal conflicts: Awaam Pakistan Party Balochistan
Quetta Pakistan : Syed Aman Shah, Provincial Convener of the Awaam Pakistan Party Balochistan, has said that the tribal system is the beauty of Balochistan and a centuries-old tradition. However, unfortunately, tribal conflicts have blocked the path of development in the province. He stated that Balochistan is currently sitting on a powder keg due to these disputes, and if they are not resolved, future generations will have to bear the serious consequences.
During meetings with various tribal elders and delegations, he emphasized that tribal conflicts have not only made the public feel insecure but have also severely obstructed the provision of education, healthcare, and basic facilities. He said that the biggest cause of the province’s backwardness is these persistent feuds, which have seriously affected opportunities for peace and progress.
Syed Aman Shah strongly stressed the urgent need for a Grand Jirga to find a permanent and sustainable solution to these conflicts. He said that all tribal chiefs, elders, and political leaders must come together to formulate a unanimous strategy.
He affirmed that Awaam Pakistan Party will play a proactive role in this regard to lead the people of Balochistan toward peace, prosperity, and development.
