Bahrain National Guard Commander General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa visited Pakistan Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu in Islamabad today.
During their meeting, they discussed various areas of mutual interest aimed at enhancing government-to-government cooperation in emerging technologies, with an emphasis on drone technology and collaboration within the cyber and networking domains.
The Air Chief underscored the longstanding fraternal relations between both countries.
The Chief of the Air Staff outlined the broad outlines of PAF’s modernization drive aimed at enhancing current operational capability in Cyber, Space, Artificial Intelligence, Electronic Warfare, and Niche technologies.
He also highlighted several ongoing projects of Pakistan Air Force’s operational construct, force goals, and plans for the force structure with a sharp focus on future warfare. Stressing the enduring religious and historical ties between the two nations, the Air Chief reiterated the deep-rooted fraternal relations between both nations.
The Chief of the Air Staff reiterated, “Pakistan highly esteems its robust diplomatic, economic, and defence partnership with Bahrain, characterized by a convergence on critical issues related to regional peace, security, and stability.”
The visiting dignitary commended the exceptional professionalism of PAF personnel and the remarkable progress achieved by Pakistan Air Force.
The Commander of the Bahrain National Guard also visited PAF Cyber Command, where he received a briefing about the operational capabilities of Pakistan Air Force.
Expressing profound interest in the advancements made by PAF in the cyber domain, the visiting dignitary conveyed his intention to dispatch a specialized team to PAF to evaluate and address any existing gaps within the emerging technologies architecture of the Bahrain Armed Forces.
The Air Chief reassured the Commander of the Bahrain National Guard of PAF’s enthusiastic cooperation and pledged full support to work together towards strengthening the technological frameworks of the Bahrain Armed Forces.
