RAWALPINDI: Four terrorists associated with proscribed Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) were killed while a serviceman embraced martyrdom in an intelligence based operation (IBO) in Awaran, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The military’s media wing said the security forces conducted an intelligence based operation against a group of BLF terrorists in Jhao near Awaran.
Four terrorists were killed in the operation while a cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered, it said and added these terrorists were involved in an ambush on a military convoy in Mashkai wherein five soldiers had embraced martyrdom earlier this year.
The ISPR said Sepoy Ramz Ali was martyred while another soldier Naik Yaqub received bullet injuries during an exchange of fire with the terrorists.
24-year old Razm Ali Shaheed hailed from Khairpur Miras, Sindh, it added.
