We are mirrors whose brightness is wholly derived from the sun that shines upon us. Kendall Gilding is an Australian journalist, television presenter, host, MC, and Ambassador. She has a Bachelor of Journalism from the Queensland University of Technology and kicked off her career with the Seven Network in my hometown of Cairns in 2011.
Kendall is the presenter of Channel 7’s afternoon news across Queensland. She has been a guest newsreader on Channel 7’s Sunrise and the Queensland 6 pm news bulletin. She also worked on live coverage of sporting events like David Cup Tennis, Magic Millions, and Stradbroke Race Day.
Kendall Gilding is passionate about business, communication, news, influence, and women. She also wants to see people live a full, happy and healthy life that’s bursting at the seams with opportunity.
When she is not working, her favorite way to unwind is by the beach – it’s her happy place! Being on the sand or in the water makes me come alive!
Kendall like all the good things in life, especially food, and fashion. But if there was a choice, she always picks dinner over a dress.
Family is my number one priority and her greatest joy in life. She’s been married to Timothy, a music teacher, for seven years. Kendall welcomed their first baby, a little girl named Olive. Recently, Kendall, while giving good news to the fans on Instagram, confirmed that she is pregnant.
A question about Strength “Where do you think you get that strength from? Do you consider yourself strong?”
At times, at times, I do but it has been a long journey to get here to where I am. I think I’ve got a lot of growing yet to do.
I’m looking forward to turning 30 because I’m feeling more secure than I ever have in my life. And I feel like I’m just coming to my peak. But I don’t know where the peak is. I feel like it never ends. I’m just always striving. And I think that’s all you can do is strive to be your best.
Kendall Gilding “My 30 Minutes”:
Success is the moment your expectations, collide with your reality. I never thought I would write a blog or do a podcast, but I feel incredibly passionate about understanding what makes motivated people tick. How do they define success, and what does it feel like? I’ve taken 30 minutes to interview inspiring Australians.
