Rawalpindi: The 25th Men’s National Baseball Championship, organized by the Pakistan Federation Baseball, has reached its final two stage. On the fifth day of the competition, Pakistan WAPDA and Pakistan Army won their matches and advanced to final by defeating HEC and Islamabad. The day’s matches were played at GHQ Baseball Ground in Rawalpindi, where WAPDA defeated HEC by 4-0. Umair Imdad Bhatti, Fazal ur Rehman, Muhammad Zakir and Waqas Ismail scored one run.
On this occasion,Pakistan Federation Baseball Secretary-General, Syed Fakhar Ali Shah was the chief guest along with Nakkash jutt. Organising committee warmly welcomed them and presented with a bouquet.
In the match played afterwards, defeated Army Islamabad by 15-0. Shahzad, Asad Ali, Faqir Hussain, Waseem Akram, Muhammad Younis scored 2-2 while Nazir Ahmed, Muhammad Hussain, Chingiz, Muhammad Wasim, Muhammad Abdullah scored 1 run each for the winning team.
Major Ali Tahir, Tahir Mahmood, Amir Imdad Bhatti, Amjad Nawaz Khan, Hamza Ashraf, and others were present on the occasion. The matches are being supervised by Zubair Watto, Tariq Pasha, Muhammad Sajid, Sarfaraz Ahmedand Zubair Malik under while Muhammad Mubariz Hassan is the scorer.
