The Interior Ministry has called in the army for the security of the red zone. The army will be deployed at the Prime Minister’s House, the Prime Minister’s Office, the Presidency and the Supreme Court.
According to sources, all the security of the red zone in Islamabad will be handed over to the army.
The army will be deployed on all sensitive government buildings in the red zone.
Sources said that section 144 has been enforced in the federal capital for two months while its scope has been extended up to one kilometer of the red zone.
A notification for implementation of section 144 has also been issued in Islamabad.
Apart from the Prime Minister’s House, the Prime Minister’s Office, the Presidency, the Supreme Court and other government buildings including the Cabinet Division, the army will also be deployed.
The federal government sought the services of the FC
On the other hand, the federal government has sought the services of the FC. According to sources, 2,000 FC personnel will be on duty in Islamabad.
It should be noted that the government has decided to stop the long march of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that such tactics are tantamount to destroying the economy.
