One of Karachi’s most anticipated celebratory events will start at 8 pm on 14th August, 2018, when grand fireworks will illuminate the sky in honour of Pakistan’s 71st Independence Day. Amreli Steels Ltd, Pakistan’s largest selling brand of steel bars, will host a dazzling fireworks and light show at the City of Jinnah monument at the Amreli Steels roundabout, adjacent to Dolmen Mall in Karachi. Earlier this year, Amreli Steels Ltd. unveiled the monument to commemorate the memory of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. The monument features four portraits of the Quaid and has been made with Amreli Steels’ steel bars as an example of contemporary industrial art in a public space.
The spectacular firework and light show on 14th August will be open to the public. The highlight of the evening will be a surprise element that will honour the birth of the nation by recreating a critical moment from Pakistan’s history in a unique and unprecedented way! This will be the highpoint of the event and will be revealed on the day.
