KARACHI: By the Grace of Allah, another Youm-e-Ashura was observed throughout the country in dignity, awe, and ended in peace. I gratitude that Ashur passed peacefully without any untoward incident due to excellent security measures.
Ambassador at Large for Global Peace, Human Rights & Interfaith Harmony Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui Chairman of Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) said Hazrat Imam e Hussain (RA) is the path of love and peace. Muharram is a month of peace and sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain ibn e Ali for humanity. Peace is possible only will and Determination is needed.

Nation feels proud and pays tribute to the Government of Pakistan and Security Agencies.
Youm-e-Ashura, the tenth of Muharram, was observed on Saturday with solemnity to pay homage to Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions who laid down their lives in Karbala. Majalis were also held across the country Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) Ulemas highlighted the philosophy of Karbala and paid tribute to the martyrs.

He extended his appreciation to all Interfaith Harmony and Inter-religious leadership, scouts, electronic media, and others for your untiring efforts, proved peacefully and played their role in getting the holy Muharram ul Haram completed with peace, unity and complete orderliness to maintain peace and foolproof security arrangement on the day of Ashura. Especially the Sindh Rangers, Sindh police officers, and Jawans who remained on duty round the clock on a peaceful Ashura day are commendable.
Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui said that Pakistan had been a flag-bearer of love, tolerance, hospitality, and had fought against terrorism and religious extremism. All schools of thought agree on the “Paigham e Pakistan”. Interfaith Harmony and Inter-religious leadership always, day and night play their role in getting the holy Muharram completed with peace, unity, and complete orderliness which I pay tribute to Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) and team. He said that the Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) has always taken practical steps to eliminate extremism and sectarianism in the country.
Global Peace & Human Rights Ambassador Allam Ahsan said that the Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) acknowledged the collective efforts of the participants and organizers, Scouts, Shia religious parties and organizations for great efforts contributed to the amicable and harmonious conduct of the procession.
The Chairman Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) said that the ICPH has always taken practical steps to eliminate extremism and sectarianism in the country. The Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) is the institution where without discrimination of color, race, creed, and religion, respect for humanity is discussed. He said the Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony fully believed in freedom of expression and supremacy of the Constitution and would ensure that all people from all schools of religious thought and minorities living in Pakistan would exercise their fundamental rights.
