Ambassador at Large for Global Peace & Human Rights Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui, Chairman, and Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) has felicitated the nation on Pakistan Day, March 23rd.
Pakistan: In a statement Tuesday Youm e Pakistan is being celebrated country wide with motivation and commitment that we all will stand to unit Pakistan. Ambassador at Large for Global Peace & Human Rights Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui, Chairman, Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) said in his message that 23rd March is the day of Realization that we are a Nation and Pakistan is our only identity. The month of March occupies a unique place in Pakistan’s history. He also remembered elders, who set a goal in the form of the Pakistan Resolution and remained democratic for achieving the goal. From that momentous day in 1940, our nation has come a long way. Having attained independence on 14th August, 1947 against seemingly insurmountable odds. Our country has been confronted with many challenges both external and internal in the post-independence period. The problems have indeed been many and complex. The Quaid-e-Azam always stressed the educational, social, and economic welfare of people and termed the implementation of the Islamic principles and higher humanitarian traditions as a guarantee of success.
Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui Chairman, Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) said that we feel honored to greet the nation on the occasion of Pakistan Day, which is a truly historic milestone in our nation’s quest for Independence. For it was on this day that the Muslims of South Asia resolved to carve out a independent homeland for themselves; a land where they could live in peace and harmony in accordance with the tenets of Islam, free from repression and subjugation.
Ambassador at Large for Global Peace & Human Rights Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui, Chairman, Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) said that a proud Pakistan day for Pakistan and the global Islamic community of nations. Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) Albaraka Welfare Trust International (ABWTI) welcomed the representatives of over 62 countries to the 48th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers. The 48th session holds special significance since it coincides with the 75th Anniversary of Pakistan Independence. Pakistan under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan is playing an important role for the unity of the Muslim Ummah. In Sha Allah, in the future, this unity will prove to be beneficial for the solution of the problems of the Muslim Ummah. It will help us reach a common resolution regarding the problems faced by Muslims around the World. He said that thank you all for participating in the OIC and giving us the opportunity to host, and thank you our brothers for visiting and hopefully, this conference will play a vital role to spread peace and humanity in the world.
The ICPH Chairman has in his Pakistan Day felicitation message paid rich tribute to the brave men of the armed forces and civil servants who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the country and saluted their courage and sacrifices. Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) is resolved to redeem its pledge given to its founding fathers that it will protect the homeland. We are also committed to preserve and ensure freedom, equality and social justice as core values of our polity as desired by our enlightened forebears.

Let’s paint the walls with hope and positivity and peace, let’s showcase the talent of youth and let’s support each other to make a better land. Let’s decide today that everyone will play his role for better Pakistan. I am confident that Pakistan has turned a new leaf in its existence and will soon be able to overcome all odds. We pray to Almighty Allah to bless our efforts to prove ourselves worthy of the heritage bequeathed to us by the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
