LAHORE: A tense confrontation occurred at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport between two female passengers and customs personnel, as reported by ARY News. A video of the incident has gone viral, showing both sides physically assaulting each other. At one point, a female customs official can be seen pulling a passenger by the hair.
Customs authorities confirmed that the conflict stemmed from concerns regarding the clearance of the dresses and surveillance equipment. One of the passengers has been detained for assaulting a customs officer, and a formal case has been filed as legal proceedings continue.
