Alibaba.com Deepens Commitment to Pakistani Businesses with Launch of Online Logistics Services
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter
Pakistan, May 22, 2025 – Alibaba.com, a leading platform for global business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce, today announced the launch of its comprehensive suite of online logistics services tailored to assist Pakistani exporters in optimizing their international trade processes.
Amid the explosive growth of cross-border e-commerce, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan are presented with new opportunities to participate in global trade. However, they also face significant challenges, particularly in optimizing their export processes. Logistics has been identified as a major obstacle, as businesses must find effective and reliable shipping solutions to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing costs and risks.
Recognizing this, Alibaba.com has partnered with leading international express delivery companies such as CPEX with the goal of supporting the export of Pakistani goods to over 200 countries and regions around the world. The service not only supports fast and reliable international shipping options but also integrates the entire logistics process—from packaging and warehousing to delivery—helping businesses optimize costs and time.
Through its international express delivery partners, Alibaba.com will ensure that goods are transported safely and on schedule, while also providing detailed order tracking tools, and customs advisory services. These features help businesses minimize risks and enhance their competitiveness in the international market. Specific features of Alibaba.com’s logistics services for Pakistani sellers include:
? Transparency and cost-effectiveness: Businesses benefit from receiving upfront, detailed quotes for a range of services, including base freight, surcharges, and general sales tax. By offering competitive shipping rates, Alibaba.com enables businesses to substantially lower their overall order costs.
? Global digitalized smart logistics service: Alibaba.com offers a fully digitalized order fulfillment process for packages dispatched to multiple countries and regions. This AI-powered service supports transactions and smart shipping. It offers quotations for logistics services and supports online logistics order placements and fully online process tracking 24/7.
? Enhanced order tracking and control capabilities: The intelligent system automatically suggests optimal shipping routes, allowing sellers and buyers to track orders online and communicate transparently. This ensures efficient delivery and enhances partner satisfaction.
Ms. Summer Gao, Head of Global Supply Chain at Alibaba.com, commented: “Online logistics services are essential for small and medium-sized enterprises in global trade. They not only streamline operations and reduce costs, but also empower businesses to reach global markets with ease. By leveraging advanced technologies and comprehensive solutions, Alibaba.com helps support Pakistani SMEs in enhancing their competitiveness, ensuring timely deliveries, and responding swiftly to market demands, ultimately fueling their growth and success in the global arena.”
Take the example of Clush Industries, a company specializing in the production of garment products including T-shirts, hoodies, and tracksuits, has established its presence in the global marketplace since becoming part of Alibaba.com in 2024. Remarkably, 100% of their export revenue now originates from this platform. The company has effectively expanded its reach into key markets such as the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
Mr. Zulqarnain Baryar, CEO of Clush Industries, remarked, “The introduction of Alibaba.com’s logistics services has greatly accelerated our transaction processes and bolstered customer trust. With features such as detailed tracking and optimized shipping routes, these services ensure timely deliveries and improved risk management. These enhancements have not only streamlined our operations but have also facilitated new business opportunities internationally, allowing us to confidently expand our presence.”
Berry Ma, Head of Pakistan Business at Alibaba.com, added: “Our new logistics services aim to support Pakistani exporters by providing efficient solutions to overcome traditional barriers in international trade. We’re committed to offering essential tools to help Pakistani businesses tap into significant growth opportunities in global markets.”
