Alfaazz is an online hybrid learning platform which integrates online teaching with real-life experiences and resources that provide challenge, excitement and conceptual learning. After Eidul Fitr, Alfaazz organized a fun activity at Turtle Beach for the inhabitants of Fixit Family Home Karachi. The trip was planned and executed by online informative and booking platform TripsCon. The event was streamed live on various social media channels of Alfaazz.
The first thing the children did was run to see the sea and were mesmerized by the view.
Prior to the storytelling session, the children enjoyed various activities such as musical chairs, a magic show and a few games, namely cricket and football.
The trip ended with Alfaazz’s Urdu storytelling activity. Alfaazz’s Urdu teacher Ms Asma Irshad narrated the events in the life of the Prophet Hazrat Younus A.S, shedding light on the importance of belief, obedience to Allah and repentance. The narration was enhanced by enticing visuals of the story presented through slides, and the interesting answers to the questions related to the story. After the narration, Ms Irshad conducted an alternative version of the popular children’s game Simon Says, and the children found great joy in acting out on the teacher’s instructions.
Ms Irshad told another story titled “Ittefaq Mein Barkat Hai”, and enlightened children with the significance of unity and staying together. Using props and images, the teacher maintained the interest of the listeners, and ended the session with a Total Physical response activity on Urdu verbs.
In this way, ALFAAZZ delivered on its promise to promote education rooted in fun, values and active learning.
