The win reflects the overwhelming confidence and trust placed by members in proven leadership, vision, and performance.
Mr. Akbar Iqbal Puri, a renowned businessman, Chairman of the Akbar Puri Group, and a former President of this prestigious institution, has once again been elected President of Karachi Gymkhana.

Over the past three years, under the collective efforts and leadership of Mr. Akbar Iqbal Puri and his team, Karachi Gymkhana has experienced remarkable and rapid development. The Club’s infrastructure and facilities have been significantly upgraded, reinforcing its status as one of Asia’s most prestigious clubs.
Key developments include the introduction of Padel and Pickleball courts, a state-of-the-art ladies’ swimming pool, a children’s swings area, and a new poolside restaurant. The main kitchen has been completely expanded and rebuilt in compliance with ISO 9001 standards, ensuring the highest levels of quality and hygiene.
