GERMANY : In Germany, a flock of 50 sheep broke away from the herd and entered a supermarket to shop. Dozens of people burst into the main entrance of the Penny supermarket in Bergsin, Lower Franconia, causing chaos and spreading a foul odor. Shepherd Dieter Mischler said that a group of sheep got separated from the larger herd. The sheep were probably distracted by the acorns and went into the store to eat them. He said that the separated group later safely rejoined the herd.
