Karachi (INP) — A free medical camp was organized at Ismai Medical Center located in Gulistan-e-Jauhar. Dozens of people benefited from the facilities available at the camp. Along with various tests, doctors specializing in cardiology, kidney, liver, ENT, eye, orthopedic, diabetes, gynecology, and other fields were present with their staff. Free medicines were also provided to patients visiting the camp.
On the occasion, Dr. Ismai, head of the medical center, and her husband Engineer Sami Khan said that the purpose of organizing the medical camp is to help those who, for various reasons, are unable to seek treatment. They mentioned that in addition to patients, social, political, and government figures also attended the camp. The event has been held regularly for the past five years, and the number of patients has been increasing every year.
They added that the special feature of the camp is the presence of well-known and experienced doctors, enabling elderly men and women, as well as young people and children, to receive valuable medical advice. Besides treatment facilities, refreshments were also arranged for the patients. People came for treatment not only from Gulistan-e-Jauhar but also from other areas. The camp began at 10 a.m. and continued until 5 p.m.
