Italy: The death toll has risen to 59 after a migrant boat crashed into a reef off Italy’s southern coast.
According to the foreign news agency, 12 children are also among the dead, and 28 Pakistani citizens on board the boat have also drowned.
According to Italian authorities, 81 people survived the crash, of which 20 are being treated in hospital.
According to foreign media, 20 to 30 people aboard the boat are still missing, with an estimated 150 to 200 migrants on board. People from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, and other countries were on board the boat that left Turkey.
