This was stated by Respected Mr. Muhammad Baligh ur Rahman, honorable Governor Punjab during a meeting with Mr. Maqsood Ahmad Naz, Founder and President of Shelter and Care Foundation for Special Children at Governor House, Lahore.
On this occasion, Mr. Maqsood Naz explained the vision and mission of the Shelter and Care Foundation and urged that handicapped and disabled children must be encouraged to become self-dependent and productive parts of their society rather than dependent on others.
Mr. Naz invited the honorable Governor Punjab as the Chief Guest at “An Evening with Special Children”. Mr. Baligh ur Rahman accepted the invitation and assured his presence and future participation in such activities arranged by the Shelter and Care Foundation for Special Children.
