The Karachi Test, which was initially called boring between Pakistan and Australia, was made historic by captain Babar Azam and wicketkeeper-batsman Muhammad Rizwan.

National team captain Babar Azam was bowled out for 196 by Nathan Lyon just four runs away from the first double century of his career but Muhammad Rizwan scored an unbeaten century.

On the fifth day of the second Test of the ongoing series between the two teams, Pakistan resumed their second incomplete innings with 192 for 2.

Shortly before the lunch break in the match, Abdullah Shafiq lost his wicket for 96 runs after suffering from nervous nineties.

By the lunch break, Pakistan were 254 for three.

After the lunch break, captain Babar Azam completed his 150 runs. Fawad Alam was also the guest for only 9 runs on 277 runs and he was dismissed by Pat Cummins.

After that a partnership was formed between the captain Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. Both of them added 115 runs for their team but even more than that they played 248 balls.

Pakistani fans were shocked when captain Babar Azam lost his wicket for 196 runs. On this occasion, the spectators at the National Stadium Karachi were also overwhelmed.

As soon as Babar Azam was dismissed, Faheem Ashraf lost his wicket on the next ball and Nathan Lyon’s easy ball.

However, wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan, who was on the carriages with the tail-enders, showed his class and continued batting responsibly.
