NEW DELHI : Veteran journalist Kuldip Nayar breathed her last due to health issues, on Wednesday night in a Delhi hospital. He passed away at the age of 95.
He was born on August 14, 1923 in Sialkot, Pakistan. He did his Bachelor of Laws form Law College Lahore and then did his Master of Science.
The veteran journalist had started his career with an Urdu newspaper. He was the writer of the famous column “Between the lines” and also wrote may books.
He attended many literary festivals held in Pakistan.
Moreover, Nayar had served as high commissioner of India to the UK. He was also nominated as a member of the Upper House of Parliament in 1997.
