KARACHI, August 22, 2026: Aptech Vision 2026 concluded in Karachi with Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi attending the closing ceremony as chief guest.

Addressing the event, the governor praised Aptech Learning Pakistan for promoting education, technology and modern skills among young people.

Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi said the government had developed a vision for Pakistan’s future with a strong focus on youth. He said young Pakistanis would play a central role in turning that vision into reality through talent, hard work and skills.

Youth and Employment Opportunities

The governor said initiatives under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme aim to connect skilled Pakistani youth with employment opportunities abroad.

He also highlighted the role of the PM Youth Hub in supporting young people. The platform provides opportunities related to education, employment and skills development.

Addressing the youth, Nehal Hashmi said Pakistan’s young generation should approach challenges with confidence. He added that by 2047, today’s youth would lead the country as Pakistan marks 100 years of independence.

Technology Changing the Global Economy

The governor described Aptech Vision 2026 as a valuable platform connecting youth, education, technology and industry.

He said rapid technological change was transforming economies worldwide. Artificial intelligence and digital technologies, in particular, are creating new opportunities and changing the nature of employment.

A university degree alone, he said, is no longer enough to compete in the modern economy. Young people also need practical skills, creative thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.

Nehal Hashmi described Pakistan’s young population as one of the country’s greatest national assets. He stressed the need to equip young people with skills that match technological developments and changing market demands.

He said businesses should provide young people with internships, practical training and employment opportunities. Such partnerships, he added, can help students move more effectively from education into professional careers.

Nehal Hashmi also encouraged young people to continue learning and experiment with new ideas.

“You are not only Pakistan’s future; you are Pakistan’s present,” he told participants.
