Swat Operation continued in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as police and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) launched a joint raid in the Matta area, where officials said four suspected militants were killed and several others were injured.
According to security sources, police successfully secured control of the strategically important Rashid Sar area during the operation. Authorities said the raid remains in progress as security forces continue to clear the area.

During the operation, Elite Force Constable Gulfam was martyred while engaging the militants, officials said. Security agencies paid tribute to his bravery and sacrifice.
Officials added that several militants had taken shelter inside a house and were allegedly using members of a family as human shields, complicating the ongoing operation. Security forces said they were taking precautions to protect civilians while continuing efforts to neutralise the remaining suspects.
