According to Administrator Farooq Alam, the institution has been serving the education sector for 35 years and has operated as an examination center for the past 15 years, hosting thousands of students annually.
He stated that Aftab School and College is recognized as a structured examination center in Karachi’s Korangi area, operating in accordance with the regulations of the relevant education boards. He added that special arrangements are made to facilitate students and parents, including waiting areas for families and basic amenities during examination periods.
The administration also emphasized that classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, while students are provided with drinking water and refreshments to ensure comfort during exams.
Farooq Alam said the institution has introduced live social media coverage of examination activities to maintain transparency and keep parents and authorities informed about the process.
He further noted that strict monitoring systems have been implemented to ensure a cheating-free environment, along with clear instructions for staff to maintain respectful and supportive behavior, particularly toward female students.
Security arrangements have also been strengthened to ensure a safe and disciplined environment for all examinees. The administration stated that these measures are reviewed and improved annually to maintain standards.
Farooq Alam urged education authorities and boards to recognize and encourage such examination centers, saying they help promote higher educational standards and a better learning environment in the country.
