During the meeting, both sides held detailed discussions on strengthening ties between Pakistan and China, with a particular focus on enhancing support for Chinese investors and addressing security-related matters.

Interior Minister Naqvi highlighted the government’s efforts to ensure the safety of Chinese nationals working and residing in Pakistan, assuring that concerns of Chinese businesses would be addressed on a priority basis.

He also announced plans to organise a conference in Islamabad aimed at resolving challenges faced by Chinese investors. The Chinese consul general and members of the Chinese business community in Karachi will be invited to participate.

Naqvi emphasised that Chinese investors play a crucial role in Pakistan’s economic development, adding that promoting foreign investment and maintaining a business-friendly environment remain key government priorities.

Consul General Yang Yundong appreciated the minister’s efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation and expressed satisfaction with the security arrangements in place for Chinese nationals in Pakistan.
