Karachi Pakistan : Chairts Authority to take immediate notice of serious complaints against AirSial regarding the alleged negligence and mismanagement affecting Umrah passengersman Kaukab Iqbal, Consumers Association of Pakistan (CAP), has strongly urged the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority and Pakistan Airpor.
It has been reported that passengers traveling for Umrah through AirSial flights have faced unnecessary delays, poor coordination, and lack of proper facilitation. Such treatment is unacceptable, particularly for pilgrims undertaking a sacred religious journey.
As per the rules and regulations of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority, airlines are fully responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and proper care of all passengers, especially in cases of delays, rescheduling, or operational disruptions. Failure to provide assistance, accommodation, or timely information is a violation of passenger rights.
Kaukab Iqbal emphasized that Umrah passengers, many of whom are elderly, deserve special care and respect. Negligence or lack of proper arrangements not only causes inconvenience but also emotional and physical distress.
The Consumers Association of Pakistan has demanded:
•Immediate investigation into the complaints against AirSial
•Strict action in case of regulatory violations
•Fair compensation for all affected passengers
•Assurance that such incidents will not be repeated in the future
CAP remains committed to protecting consumer rights and ensuring that airlines operating in Pakistan strictly follow aviation safety and service standards.
