Karachi — 2025 : The PCCA Award Ceremony 2025 was held at the Russian House in Karachi, where chefs, culinary students, industry experts and sponsors gathered to celebrate excellence and innovation in the culinary field. The event carried special significance as the Guest of Honour, Mr. Ruslan M. Prokhrov, Director of the Russian House Karachi, graced the occasion with his presence. Representing the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Ahmad Syofian attended the ceremony as the official delegate, further strengthening the spirit of international collaboration.

The evening opened with Tilawat and the National Anthem, setting a dignified tone for the gathering. Event heads, Chef Ghulam and Chef Asma Imran, warmly welcomed the guests, accompanied by a background video prepared by Azoo Group. A sponsor recognition segment was conducted by Ghalib, where the support of notable sponsors including Expert (Kamran), Sabiha Anees, Salman’s Food and Twinkel Bakery was acknowledged for their contribution to the ceremony’s success.

Throughout the event, multiple activity segments were introduced by Chef Asma and later continued by Ghalib. These included live cooking showcases, Happy Cow activities and presentations by Salman’s Food, engaging the audience and highlighting diverse culinary talents. Cultural participation added further vibrance as Sir Adnan, Faisal (Kernal Pop) and Chef Khurram took part in various segments. Curated by Farah Brohi, the cultural section featured Bait Bazi, a Tablo performance by Mehjabeen Institute, a quiz competition and guest appearance announcements. Shields were presented by Mehjabeen to acknowledge participants’ efforts and performances.
Guests also enjoyed a musical performance before an insightful panel discussion titled “The Future of Culinary Art,” hosted by Syed Farhan and coordinated by Ghalib, which brought forward valuable perspectives from industry professionals. The awards ceremony followed, where shields were presented to sponsors, contributors and distinguished guests in recognition of their support and achievements.

A major highlight of the evening was the inauguration of ProSkill, marking the launch of a new initiative designed to enhance culinary training, professional development and advanced learning opportunities. All team members were invited on stage to commemorate this milestone, reflecting the unified commitment towards uplifting the culinary profession.
The ceremony concluded with closing remarks by Chef Asma Imran and Chef Ghulam, followed by the distribution of shields to session members. A cake-cutting ceremony and dinner brought the event to a warm and memorable close, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees and celebrating the spirit of culinary excellence and community.
