Karachi, November 9, 2025 — The Rotary Club of Karachi Intra City organized a memorable event celebrating the birth anniversary of the great poet and philosopher, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, and paying tribute to Advocate Nasir Khilji for his remarkable social and humanitarian services.
The program was presided over by Naseem Shah, President of the Rotary Club of Karachi Intra City, who highlighted Iqbal’s philosophy of Khudi (selfhood) and his inspiring message for the youth.
Sadaf Jaan, President of the Rotary Club Green Ways, also shed light on the lasting relevance of Iqbal’s message, particularly in the context of personal growth, community leadership, and social responsibility.
Waseem Khan, Secretary of the Rotary Club of Karachi Intra City, played a key role in organizing the event and ensuring its smooth execution. The event was gracefully hosted by Dr. Zaigham, with participation from Rotarian Masood Alam, other Rotarians, lawyers, and social activists.

The gathering reflected on Allama Iqbal’s philosophy of self-realization, perseverance, and social responsibility. Participants also commended Advocate Nasir Khilji for his contributions in the fields of law, social welfare, and community service.
In his address, Nasir Khilji expressed gratitude and emphasized that education, social service, and playing a positive role in the community are responsibilities shared by all individuals.
A cake-cutting ceremony was also held, where distinguished guests and members of the Rotary Club jointly celebrated the birthdays of Allama Iqbal and Advocate Nasir Khilji.
