Islamabad: On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the glorious National Day of Algeria, the day of the liberation revolution of 1st November, the Embassy of Algeria in Islamabad organized a ceremony at Serena Hotel, where the chief guest was Mrs. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Minister of Information Technology and Communication, in the presence of the diplomatic corps accredited to Pakistan and representatives of international organisations, parliament, chambers of commerce and industry, academic, cultural and media institutions, as well as the national community in Pakistan.
On this occasion, Ambassador Brahim Romani praised in his speech the long-standing and solid relations of solidarity, coordination and cooperation between Algeria and Pakistan, stressing the importance of Algeria as a major pivotal country in its region, the gateway to Africa and the third largest economy on the continent. Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja also highlighted the strength and importance of Algerian-Pakistani relations and the many fruitful partnership opportunities between the two brotherly countries.
