Karachi – The grand premiere of the collaborative historical drama series “Salahuddin Ayubi,” jointly produced by Turkey and Pakistan, unfolded at DHA Karachi yesterday. The inaugural episode delved into the compelling life of Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi, a revered Islamic leader who triumphed in capturing Bait Al-Maqdis.
This captivating series, crafted in Istanbul, Turkey, is initially presented in Turkish, with plans for dubbing in Urdu, English, and Arabic.
Adding a distinctive touch, Pakistani artists grace the screen, seamlessly blending cultures. The meticulous production journey included acquiring extensive land in Istanbul’s “Gebze” region, transformed into the historic settings of Jerusalem and Damascus from eight centuries past.
Set in the remarkable Murakta Al-Araa, the series captures the harmonious coexistence during Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi’s era, where Muslims, Christians, and Hindus thrived together, portraying the essence of Islam as a peaceful religion.
