Karachi, October 28, 2023: The National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) in its 19th Annual General Meeting held on Thursday 26 October, reelected the Chairman and Members of the Board for another term of three years.
Outgoing members who were reelected include Chairman Syed Jawaid Iqbal, Mr. Tariq Kirmani, Senator (Retd) Javed Jabbar, Mr. Anwar Rammal, Mrs. Mahtab Akbar Rashdi, Mr. Shahrukh Hasan, Mr. Satish Anand, Ms. Fawzia Naqvi, Senator (Retd) Roshan Khursheed Bharucha and Mrs. Salima Hashmi.
The Board also approved appointment of Ms. Rukhshanda Naz, KP Ombudsperson for Harassment against Women as a member of the Board. Federal Secretary Finance, Federal Secretary National Heritage and Culture Division, Secretary Culture, Tourism, Antiquities and Archives Department Sindh and CEO NAPA are ex-officio members of the Board of Directors.
