KARACHI: Consul General of Turkiye in Karachi Cemal Sangu has said that Pakistan and
Turkie are two countries but a single nation and he will Multi Entry Visa of one to five years to
members of Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD) so that they can
collaborate with builders and developers of Turkiye for the economic betterment of both the
countries.
Consul General of Turkiye was addressing a meeting of ABAD members at ABAD House.
Chairman ABAD Altaf Tai, Vice Chairman Nadeem Jeewa, Chairman Southern Region Raheel
Rinch, Mahmood Ahmed Khan From Gawadar Captor Abad ,Commerce Attaché of Turkiye Consulate in Karachi Eyyup Yildirim and Commercial
Secretary Miss Kausar Ahmed were also present on this occasion.
He said that members of ABAD should visit Turkiye and meet their Turkish counterparts for
exchange of views and construction techniques, which will be in favour of the economies of both
countries as construction industry has potential to strengthen economy. He also advised ABAD
to organize solo exhibition of Pakistani builders and developers in Turkiye.
He lamented that Pakistan and Turkiye enjoy close brotherly relations since centuries but the
trade between two countries is minimal, which needs to needs to be enhanced because if we can
have trillions of dollars trade with European countries why Pakistan and Turkiye cannot do
roaring trade.
He said that construction companies of Turkiye has proved themselves in the world through their
basic infrastructure, construction design and technique and I wish that members of ABAD should
work with them to open new avenues of construction. He said that to facilitate members of
ABAD he will issue Multi Entry visa of Turkiye so that they can travel frequently whenever they
want to.
Chairman ABAD Altaf Tai appreciated Consul General of Turkiye for visiting ABAD House
and sharing valuable advice and experiences. He said that Pakistani builders and developers want
to take advantage of modern techniques of Turkiye’s construction companies. He said that
Turkish construction companies can work in Pakistan as we are facing shortfall of more than
twelve million housing units.
Chairman Southern Region Raheel Rinch thanked visiting guest and hoped that such interaction
between two sides will continues in the future.
