5 soldiers martyred in an explosion near LoC: ISPR

RAWALPINDI – Five soldiers of Pakistan Army were martyred by an explosion near the Line of Control (LoC) in Chamb sector of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has said in a statement on Wednesday.

One soldier was injured in the explosion. The ISPR said that the incident is evidence of state-sponsored terrorism by India, “violating bilateral cease-fire agreements and international rules.”Sepoy Ghulam Qasim, Sepoy Zohaib, Sepoy Muhammad Tayyab, Naik Sher Zaman and Subedar Mohammad Sadiq, are among the martyred soldiers. The nature of the explosion is being ascertained.
