Karachi: On the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution a thoughtful conference was held at the Cultural Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran-Karachi.
This Conference was addressed by the director of Cultural Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran-Karachi, director general of culture and secretary of the religious affairs and zakat and Usher Govt. of Sindh Mr. Mumawer Ali Mehaser, dean faculty of the Islamic studies at University of Karachi, Zahid Ali Zahidi and Nazir Leghari chief executive of Bol-Tv Network and publication.
Addressing the ceremony, the director of Khana Farhang Iran, Dr. Saeed Talabi Nia, said that this gathering is being held to discuss and analyze the role of Imam Khomeini and the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in expanding the Culture of independence and freedom of nations.
The meeting was participated by a large number of the representatives of all schools of thoughts, media and social media activists, show-biz Artists, academics, men of letters and famous intellectuals.
The director in his welcome address to the audience said that Iran and Pakistan had close friendly relations for centuries and still there is deep love for Pakistan in the Iranian people.
He said that main aim of Imam Khomeini’s revolution was to abolish imperialist dominance from Iran. Imam Khomeini always emphasized on the economic, political and social freedom of the Muslim nation.
Senior journalist Nazir Leghari discussed about the development of the Islamic Republic of Iran in different field of technology and science in the last forty-four years in spite of sever economic international sanctions. Other speakers highlighted the services of Imam Khomeini and Quaid-e-Azam in awakening Muslim nation all over the world. At the end of the ceremony, the birthday cake of the Iranian Revolution was cut and served.
