200,000 glasses of NESTLÉ MILKPAK donated by Nestlé and its partners for flood relief

Nestlé Pakistan, along with dairy industry partners Tetra Pak Pakistan, Bulleh Shah Packaging Pvt Ltd, Omega Dairy Pvt Ltd, Happy Cattle and Ever Fresh Farms come together to support vulnerable communities affected by floods

LAHORE: In the wake of devastating floods across Pakistan, Nestlé Pakistan responding to calls by National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) for flood relief efforts, has donated 200,000 glasses of NESTLÉ MILKPAK to support the nutritional needs of flood affectees in collaboration with dairy industry partners Tetra Pak Pakistan, Bulleh Shah Packaging Pvt Ltd, Omega Dairy Pvt Ltd, Happy Cattle and Ever Fresh Farms.

Earlier, Nestlé Pakistan completed donations of 300,000 liters of clean drinking water, in the first phase to support vulnerable communities affected by the devastating floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Punjab in collaboration with NDMA.

Talking about the donation, Jason Avanceña, Chief Executive Officer, Nestlé Pakistan said, “We have provided NESTLÉ MILKPAK to support the nutritional needs of vulnerable communities displaced and affected by these floods. We have already mobilized supply to Narowal, Sialkot, Wazirabad, Hafizabad, Chiniot and Jhang, based on NDMA’s guidelines.”

Awais Bin Nasim, Managing Director of Tetra Pak Pakistan said, “This donation perfectly echoes Tetra Pak’s vision of making food safe and available everywhere, and we are fully supportive of these efforts.”

Talking about the collaboration, Nasir Zaman Khan, CEO of Bulleh Shah Packaging Pvt. Ltd. said “We are pleased to partner with Nestlé for packaging of NESTLÉ MILKPAK 250ml in corrugated trays for free distribution to beneficiaries. Together we can make a difference in creating a better tomorrow.”

Highlighting the efforts undertaken, Rashid Haleem CEO Ever Fresh Farms said, “Our religion places great emphasis on assisting those in need and those undergoing difficulties. As a responsible organization, Ever Fresh has taken multiple initiatives to support the underprivileged communities during these floods.”

Hanif Memon, CEO Omega Dairy added, “Omega Dairy Farm stands in solidarity with the flood-affected communities. We are committed to donating milk to support those in need, helping to nourish families and rebuild lives during this challenging time.

Emphasizing on how important the availability of nutrition was for those in need, Chaudhry Sultan Mehmood CEO Happy Cattle stressed, “These floods are a wake-up call for all of us to step up and act. We are glad that we have been able to play a part in contributing to Nestlé and NDMA’s relief efforts.”
