Karachi :The 16th All Pakistan Syed Sikandar Ali Shah Mast Bukhari Memorial Shooting Ball Tournament was held at Niaz Stadium, Hyderabad, in which 64 teams from Pakistan participated. The special guests of the opening match were Secretary Sports end Youth Affairs Munawar Ali Mahsar and Ms. Maryam Kerio DSO Hyderabad. They inaugurated the tournament. 8 teams qualified for the quarter-finals, including Al-Freed Club Sahiwal, Rising Star Zandra Ziarat, Mehboob Club Hyderabad, Baloch Club Dera Nawab, Abdul Rashid Olympian Club Mian Channu, Ghazi Club Mian Channu, Shan Club Borewala, Nasirabad Club Jhang. Four teams qualified for the semi-finals, including Al-Freed Club Sahiwal, Rising Star Zandra Ziarat, Mehboob Club Hyderabad, and Shan Club Borewala. The final was played between Al-Freed Club Sahiwal and Rising Star Zandra Ziarat. Due to lack of time, the match was played to 25 points, which Al-Freed Club Sahiwal won by 25 points to 23. The organizing committee of the tournament included Syed Madad Ali Shah, Syed Sikandar Ali Shah, Hakeem Buzdar, Sultan Ali Shah, Javed Akhtar Kiani, Muhammad Ajmal, Haider Ali Shah, Zulfiqar Sahuto, Abdullah Sunni Pathan, Abdul Shakoor Thebo, Abdul Saboor Pathan, Amir Muhammad Abrijo, and Qazi Ahmed Mustafa. The special guests of the final were DC Hyderabad Zain ul Abideen Memon, Abdul Karim Loni and Babar Khan Unar, who distributed trophies and prizes to the captains of the winning and losing teams in the final. This tournament lasted for 3 days from 9 am to 12 am. Thousands of fans participated in this tournament in large numbers.
