Rains and floods have wreaked havoc in Sindh province, the Sindh government has declared 22 districts of the province as calamities.
According to the details, the Sindh government has declared 9 districts affected by rain as disasters, after the district visits of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, it has issued a notification to declare 22 districts of the province as disaster.
According to the notification, Larkana, Tando-ul-Hiyar, Hyderabad, Badin, Thatta, Sukkur, Khairpur, Jamshoro, Shaheed Benazirabad have been declared completely disaster-hit.
The notification states that Sajawal, Tando Mohammad Khan, Matiari, Mirpur Khas, Umarkot, Nowshehru Feroze, Kashmore, Qamber Shahdadkot have also been declared as complete disaster areas.
The notification further states that two UCs, village Kund Jhang and UC Gadap, of Malir district of Karachi division have also been declared disaster prone.
