Pakistan Peoples Party has prepared a new power sharing formula. Under which four ministries and the post of Chairman Senate will be taken in Punjab, the post of Governor Punjab will be given to PML-N. The PPP delegation will meet Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz today and present its proposals.
A dinner was given to senior party leaders at the house of PPP senior vice chairman and former prime minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani in which Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf, Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood, Makhdoom Hassan Mehmood, Qamar Zaman Kaira and Hassan Murtaza participated. The power sharing formula was also discussed on the occasion.
According to sources, PPP will have four ministries in the Punjab cabinet, namely Hassan Murtaza for senior minister and Ali Haider Gilani, Mumtaz Chang and Makhdoom Usman Mahmood for the other three ministers. Finalized, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani’s name nominated for Chairman Senate, Governor post in Punjab It was decided in principle to give it to PML-N. Later, the PPP leaders left for Faisalabad to attend the wedding of Raja Riaz’s son.
