Karachi: President of Midland Energy, Texas, USA; recipient of “Hilal-i-Imtiaz” and Patron-In-Chief of the Houston Karachi Sister City Association (HKSCA) Syed Javaid Anwar inaugurated a Reverse Osmosis Water Plant (RO) Project at Khokhrapar, Malir, Karachi.
This RO Plant has been built by Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) to provide Everlasting Rewards (termed Sadaqa-e-Jaria) to Muhtarma Tahira Khatoon, Beloved Mother of Syed Javaid Anwar.
Atif Iqbal Khan (Focal person at the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis) and Nasim Haider (Executive Member of Karachi Houston Sister City Association), Syed Jaffar and Zia Ul Haq also participated in this ceremony.
On arrival, all the esteemed guests were welcomed by Adeel Akram, Regional Manager of HHRD, Karachi. Special prayers were offered for the success of the project; acceptance by God the Most Merciful in the Honor of Muhtarma Tahira Khatoon, Beloved Mother of Syed Javaid Anwar; and everyone present.
By the Grace of God Almighty and Philanthropists like Syed Javaid Anwar, HHRD is able to have ensured the supply of clean drinking water to the neediest community by setting up this RO plant in Khokhrapar, Malir, Karachi.
