The President & CEO of Universal Surgical Partners and President & Founder of Patient Benefit Foundation Dr. Mubashir Chaudhry arrived in Karachi on Tuesday for a Four-day visit to Sindh — his first since the coronavirus outbreak began. Dr. Mubashir Chaudhry met with prominent businessmen Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig Chairman Baig Group of Companies & Secretary Information of UBG and Mirza Ishtiaq Baig Vice-Chairman Baig Group of Companies & Hon. Consul General of Morocco at Baig Tower. Then he met with CEO Star Marketing Expo Mahmood Ahmad Khan, CEO of Integrated Textiles/ AZB Global Trade and Exhibitions Muhammad Farooq Afzal, and Chairman AZB Global Trade and Exhibitions Syed Turab Shah. He later met with members of KCCI and FPCCI to discuss current business situation of Pakistan.
Former President Pakistan Chamber of Commerce (PCC-USA) Dr. Mubashir Chaudhry said that there is a state of political uncertainty in Pakistan at present. In such a situation, there is an urgent need to create a business-friendly environment for the business community. He said that Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan should ensure revolutionary measures to boost economic growth. Make the policies attractive and give more incentives to the export sector to increase the country’s exports. He said that the whole world is facing challenges at the moment. Pakistanis all over the world want to see their country’s economy strong and Overseas Pakistan is ready to play a leading role in this regard.
