The number of recoveries from Covid-19 continue to increase across the country with 198,509 patients so far recovered from the disease.
According to the latest statistics, 1,918 new coronavirus cases were reported in the country during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 261,916.

These include 111,238 in Sindh, 89,465 in Punjab, 31,669 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 11,405 in Balochistan, 14,504 in Islamabad, 1,796 Gilgit Baltistan and 1840 in Azad Kashmir.
47 patients died of the virus during the last 24 hours and the death toll stands at 5,522.
