Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (T?KA) organized an event of Plantations where 251 Plant sapling at Ankara Park, Islamabad to commemorate martyrs and veterans of 15th July 2016.
Factions within Turkey’s military used tanks, warplanes and helicopters to try to overthrow Erdogan’s government on July 15, 2016. A total of 251 people were killed and around 2,200 were wounded as renegade service members fired on people and bombed parliament and other government buildings. Around 35 suspected participants in the coup also died.
His Excellency, Ambassador of Turkey, Mr. Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul said: “4 years ago, the Turkish Nation has proved that they can take their destiny in their own hands and Pakistan was the 1st country that stood beside Turkey right after the failed coup attempt.”

Honorable Mayor of Islamabad, Mr. Sheikh Ansar Aziz said: “Relationship with Turkey is more than 200 years old during the 1st world war. Turkey and Pakistan have always supported each other in hard times. I am so pleased to be part of today’s meaningful event organized by T?KA.
The mayor said he would make Ankara Park the best symbol of friendship between the two countries.
