Dr. Prof. Farhan Essa Abdullah took over as the District Governor of Rotary International 3271. An online ceremony was held in this regard through video link. Trustee of Rotary International Mr. Aziz Memon was the special guest on this occasion. Expressing his views, Dr. Prof. Farhan Essa Abdullah said that Rotary would create a positive image of Pakistan all over the world. Pakistan is rich in natural resources and quality of life can be improved through effective planning. With the help of Rotary International, better measures will be discussed in Pakistan. It is also possible to get resources and aid in this regard.
According to the decree of Quaid-e-Azam, everyone should have equal rights in the country. Religious freedom is the right of every citizen. Better change is needed and this change will come, Dr. Prof. Farhan Essa Abdullah announced that the annual meeting of District 3271 comprising 100 clubs of Sindh and Balochistan will be held in Balochistan after 25 years, 2,000 members attended the meeting.
Dr. Prof. Farhan Essa Abdullah also announced that the number of male and female members would be increased. He said that Rotary International is playing an important role in solving global problems, we will play our role in making Pakistan proud in the world, the new generation will be acquainted with the culture and traditions of the country. He said that there is economic crisis in the world due to Coronavirus, there are challenges of infection control, under Rotary International, efforts will be made to solve these problems in Pakistan, at the ceremony Arif Siddiqui took over as District Secretary and Chaudhry Fahad Sikandar took over as Coordinator.
