USA : Two players in the United States set a Guinness World Record for the longest marathon by playing singles pickleball for 28 hours. Brad Haverkamp and Caleb Deng, from Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, said they attempted the record in late November last year. Both players played the game for 28 hours straight, during which they were only allowed a 5-minute break every hour. Caleb Deng said that at some point your brain shuts down and you go on autopilot. He also blacked out after maybe 20 hours. The pair learned this month that evidence of their attempt had been accepted by Guinness World Records and the record had been named after them both.
