Global technology giant Google has launched a new Gemini-style AI feature in its popular search engine. According to Google, the AI Overviews feature in the search engine will now be based on Gemini 3, which will provide users with more integrated, comprehensive, and detailed answers than ever before. Along with this, a new AI chat window is also being introduced in Google Search, which is capable of answering follow-up questions. This means that after asking a question, the user will be able to ask more sub-questions in the same window. Until now, the search engine has relied primarily on keywords, often requiring users to sift through a myriad of results to find the information they need. However, with the new update, users will be able to directly access the information they need through longer, conversational searches, just as if they were having a conversation with Gemini AI. According to Google, this feature has been in limited testing for some time now, and is now available to mobile users globally. The company says the change aims to make the search experience more interactive, effective, and closer to human conversation, so users can find information in a more natural way. This move is being hailed as a significant step towards transforming Google’s search engine beyond a mere keyword-based system into a modern AI assistant.
