Karachi (Special Correspondent): Patron-in-Chief and Founder of Pakistan Business Group (PBGO), Faraz-ur-Rehman, while addressing a ceremony, appreciated Ali Arsh Khan’s contributions to the business community. He stated that Ali Arsh Khan, the founder of the International Business Group (IBG) and Chairman of PBGO, is providing new opportunities for the business community through his visionary leadership. Faraz-ur-Rehman added, “Ali Arsh Khan is a leader with exceptional capabilities, and I am confident that he will achieve his goals, which is a positive step for Pakistan’s economy.”
Speaking on the matter of Independent Power Producers (IPPs), Faraz-ur-Rehman urged the government to address the issues without further delay and ensure that the benefits reach the public promptly. He emphasized that resolving energy challenges is critical for economic stability and growth.
Discussing the high-interest rates, he pointed out that they are a major obstacle to business development. “At present, most of the capital has moved out of the market, either locked in banks or transferred abroad,” he said. Faraz-ur-Rehman called on the government to reduce interest rates to promote local investment and revive business activities.
Concluding the event, Faraz-ur-Rehman encouraged the business community to remain united and play their role in the country’s economic recovery while taking full advantage of the PBGO platform.
